The ACCUPRO 95171390 is a single-end ball end mill designed for profiling, contouring, and 3D milling operations in a wide range of materials. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required in high-demand CNC machining environments. The tool features a 20.00 mm cutting diameter, a 32.00 mm length of cut, and a 37-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. A ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating adds hardness and lubricity at the cutting edge, reducing heat buildup and extending tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous applications. This end mill is sized and built for use by machinists and toolroom professionals operating CNC milling centers.
This ball end mill is suited for profiling and semi-finishing passes on molds, dies, and complex contoured workpieces. The 20.00 mm shank diameter matches the cutting diameter, allowing direct mounting in standard ER or hydraulic toolholders without reduction. The 100.00 mm overall length provides adequate reach for recessed features without sacrificing rigidity. Right-hand cut and right-hand spiral fluting are standard for conventional CNC milling spindle rotation. It is appropriate for use on machining centers running aluminum, steel, stainless, and hardened materials within the ZrN coating's performance range.
Designed as a direct-mount tool for CNC milling machines accepting a 20.00 mm shank diameter in standard ER, hydraulic, or shrink-fit toolholders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is securely seated to the minimum insertion depth recommended for the toolholder type before clamping. Inspect the collet or toolholder bore for runout before mounting to protect the cutting edge and shank tolerance. Do not exceed the toolholder's rated clamping torque or use damaged collets, as this can affect runout and reduce tool life.
