The ACCUPRO 95170107 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and hardened materials. It features a 7/16-inch mill diameter, a 7/8-inch length of cut, and a 2-3/4-inch overall length. The four-flute, right-hand spiral geometry paired with a 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. An AlCrTiN coating provides thermal and oxidation resistance, extending tool life in high-speed and dry-cutting environments. The corner radius measures 0.0600 inches, reducing stress concentration at cutting edges and improving edge strength on profiled cuts. This end mill is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install and run this tool on CNC machining centers.
This end mill suits milling operations that require a defined corner radius on vertical walls, slots, and profiled pockets. It is well suited for use in aerospace, mold-and-die, and precision machining applications where corner integrity and tight tolerances are critical. The variable index geometry helps reduce harmonic chatter during full-slot and side-milling passes. The straight cylindrical shank with a 7/16-inch shank diameter fits standard ER and end mill holders. Single-end configuration means the cutting geometry is on one end only, and the tool is not reversible.
Designed for use in standard 7/16-inch straight-bore end mill holders, ER collet chucks, and shrink-fit tooling on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
This tool is installed by machinists using standard end mill holders or collet chucks rated for the 7/16-inch shank diameter. Ensure the holder bore and collet are clean and free of burrs before seating the tool. Power down the spindle and confirm the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Follow the tool manufacturer and machine builder guidelines for runout tolerances and pull-out prevention when setting tool stick-out.
