The ACCUPRO 95169991 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal-cutting applications. With a 3/8-inch diameter and a 0.0200-inch corner radius, it produces controlled edge breaks and smooth floor finishes in a single pass. The five-flute, right-hand spiral geometry combined with a 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and improved surface finish at higher feed rates. An AlCrTiN coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hard alloy materials. Licensed machinists and CNC operators use this end mill where edge integrity and dimensional consistency are critical.
This end mill is suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. The 1-inch length of cut supports shallow-to-moderate depth milling, while the 3/8-inch straight cylindrical shank fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders. The single-end, centercutting configuration allows plunge entry and full-slot cutting. The HS Series designation identifies it as a high-speed geometry designed for machines capable of elevated spindle speeds and rigid setups.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with 3/8-inch toolholders. Straight cylindrical shank fits ER collet chucks, milling chucks, and side-lock holders with a 3/8-inch bore. Intended for right-hand spindle rotation.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine fully powered down and the spindle at a complete stop. Ensure the shank seating depth meets the toolholder manufacturer minimum engagement specification before torquing the collet nut or set screw. Inspect the collet or chuck bore for runout before mounting, as excessive runout accelerates wear on small-diameter carbide tooling. Always verify feed rate, depth of cut, and spindle speed against the material being cut and the machine rigidity before beginning a new program.
