The ACCUPRO 95169897 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling operations in demanding shop environments. Built for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals, this single-end mill features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 2-3/4 inch length of cut, and a 5-inch overall length. The cutting end carries a 0.190 inch corner radius, which reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in interrupted cuts. An AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection at elevated cutting temperatures. The 38-degree variable-index helix promotes chip evacuation and reduces harmonic chatter during extended cuts in ferrous and hardened materials.
This end mill is suited for roughing and finishing passes in mold and die work, aerospace component machining, and general production milling where tight radii and tool longevity are required. Its centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry without a pilot hole. The micrograin solid carbide substrate supports operation in hardened steels, stainless alloys, titanium, and cast iron. The 3/4 inch shank diameter fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders commonly found in vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard production end mill for use in machining centers and CNC mills accepting a 3/4 inch shank diameter toolholder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or lockout state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in a clean, undamaged collet or side-lock holder and torque the retention hardware to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edge for chips or coating delamination before mounting; a damaged edge can cause unpredictable tool failure and workpiece damage.
