The ACCUPRO 95169809 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 1/8 inch diameter, a 1/4 inch length of cut, and a 1-1/2 inch overall length. The five-flute geometry with a 38-degree helix angle and variable index promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduced chatter. An AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The micrograin solid carbide substrate delivers hardness and rigidity at small diameters. This end mill is centercutting and suitable for plunge entry. It is used by machinists and CNC operators in job shops, aerospace, and precision manufacturing environments.
This end mill is suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes where a controlled corner radius is required to blend walls and floors without sharp stress-concentration points. The 0.0100 inch corner radius reduces edge chipping on hardened or abrasive workpiece materials. Its straight cylindrical shank measures 1/8 inch in diameter, making it compatible with standard collet systems used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. The single-end configuration and right-hand cutting direction are standard for most horizontal and vertical milling setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-application solid carbide end mill for use in standard 1/8 inch straight-shank collet chucks on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked before inserting or removing the tool from the collet. Verify collet condition and runout before use, as excessive runout at this diameter can cause premature tool failure. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and tooling supplier guidelines for feeds, speeds, and depth of cut appropriate to the workpiece material.
