The ACCUPRO 95169762 is a single-end corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in demanding metal-cutting environments. Built from solid carbide micrograin stock, this tool features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 0.0200 inch corner radius, and five flutes with a 38-degree helix angle. The AlCrTiN coating provides excellent heat resistance and wear protection, making it well suited for high-speed machining of hardened steels, stainless alloys, and other difficult materials. With centercutting capability, it supports both plunge and peripheral milling in a single tool. It is installed and operated by machinists and tool and die professionals working with CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is appropriate for finish and semi-finish milling passes where a controlled corner radius is required to reduce stress concentration in part features. The 5/8 inch length of cut and 2-1/2 inch overall length make it a compact, rigid option for shallow-to-moderate depth pockets and profiles. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC spindle operation. The chipbreaker geometry helps manage chip evacuation during interrupted cuts or in materials prone to chip welding.
Designed for use in standard 1/2 inch straight-cylindrical shank tool holders on CNC machining centers and milling machines. Compatible with ER collet chucks, hydraulic chucks, and shrink-fit holders sized for 1/2 inch shank diameter. Part of the ACCUPRO HS Series of solid carbide end mills.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom professional using an appropriate 1/2 inch tool holder and torque wrench per machine tool manufacturer specifications. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before loading or unloading the tool. Verify runout at the holder before operation, as excessive runout accelerates tool wear and reduces surface finish quality. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; external flood or mist coolant should be directed at the cutting zone when machining heat-sensitive materials.
