The ACCUPRO 95169023 is a 7-flute, solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. Built on the ST series platform with a Smart-Weldon shank and extended reach geometry, it carries an AlCrTiN coating for elevated heat and wear resistance. The 0.0300-inch corner radius helps reduce stress concentrations at the cutting edge while maintaining dimensional accuracy. With a 38-degree helix angle and ultra fine micrograin carbide construction, this end mill is suited for aggressive material removal rates in hardened steels and exotic alloys. Machinists and toolroom technicians are the primary installers and operators of this tool.
This end mill is configured for right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction. It is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry without a pilot hole. The stub-length-of-cut profile keeps the tool stiff and reduces deflection in tight-tolerance finishing and semi-finishing passes. It is applicable in CNC vertical machining centers, horizontal mills, and multi-axis platforms where high surface quality and repeatable corner geometry are required across production or prototype runs.
Designed for use in standard 3/4-inch Smart-Weldon or compatible toolholding systems on CNC milling machines requiring a 3/4-inch shank diameter end mill with a 0.0300-inch corner radius profile.
Installation and tool changes must be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel with the spindle fully stopped and machine in a safe, locked-out state. Use a calibrated torque wrench and the correct toolholder key to seat the Smart-Weldon shank properly — consult the toolholder manufacturer specification for clamping torque. Verify runout at the cutting edge with a dial indicator before beginning a production run; maximum TIR for this tool is 0.0004 inches. Inspect the tool for edge chipping or coating wear before each use and replace if damage is observed.
