The ACCUPRO 95168775 is a single-end ball end mill designed for profiling, contouring, and finishing operations in a wide range of machining applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers rigidity and edge retention well beyond high-speed steel alternatives. The cutting diameter measures 0.3125 inches (5/16 inches), with a 13/16-inch length of cut and a 2-1/2-inch overall length. The nACRo coating provides high-temperature resistance and reduced friction at the cutting edge, making it suitable for hardened steels, stainless alloys, and other demanding workpiece materials. Four flutes with a variable, high-helix spiral geometry improve chip evacuation and surface finish in finish-pass and semi-finish-pass work.
This end mill is used in CNC milling operations across job shop, tool and die, and production machining environments. It is suited for profiling 3D contours, cutting pockets, and finishing slots where a ball-nose profile is required. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard CNC spindle configurations. Machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, mold and die, and general metalworking will encounter this tool in finish and semi-finish passes on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Designed as a standard single-end ball end mill with a 5/16-inch straight shank, compatible with ER collets, end mill holders, and other toolholding systems sized for 5/16-inch shank diameters on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Verify collet or toolholder bore size matches the 5/16-inch shank diameter and that runout is within acceptable limits before beginning a cut. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling supplier recommendations for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut based on workpiece material and setup rigidity.
