The ACCUPRO 95168691 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision chamfering, deburring, and edge-breaking operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built with a 0.25 inch cutting diameter and a 0.0100 inch chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle, this tool produces consistent, controlled edge geometry on machined parts. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a variable helix reduces chatter and improves surface finish at high feed rates. An AlTiN coating adds thermal resistance and extends tool life in harder workpiece materials. Centercutting capability allows the tool to plunge directly into a workpiece where required.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills in job shop, production, and toolroom environments. It handles light chamfering passes on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar materials where edge condition and part cleanliness are critical. The single-end design, 0.75 inch length of cut, and 2.5 inch overall length make it a standard reach tool appropriate for typical workholding setups without extended reach requirements. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working to tight tolerances will find the mill diameter tolerance of +0.000 to -0.002 inches and shank diameter tolerance of +0.0001 to -0.0004 inches consistent with precision fitment in collet-style toolholders.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner chamfer end mill for use in standard 1/4 inch collet or end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills requiring precision chamfering capability.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and de-energized before changing tooling. Seat the 0.25 inch shank fully into a clean, undamaged collet or toolholder and torque the retention nut per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping before each use; carbide end mills are brittle and should not be dropped or subjected to side impact during handling.
