The ACCUPRO 95168663 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and hardened materials. It features a 3/8 inch diameter with a 0.0300 inch corner radius, 5 flutes, and an AlTiN coating that extends tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. The variable helix geometry reduces chatter and improves surface finish. With a 4 inch overall length and 2.125 inch extended reach, this is a single-end, centercutting tool suited for profiling, slotting, and finishing passes in demanding CNC machining environments. It is installed and operated by machinists, tool-and-die makers, and CNC programmers.
This end mill is built for high-performance milling in materials such as alloy steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and hardened workpieces where corner integrity and surface finish are critical. The AlTiN coating performs well under high-speed, dry, or near-dry cutting conditions. The extended reach configuration allows access to deep pockets, shoulders, and contoured profiles where standard-length tools cannot reach. The 3/8 inch shank diameter is compatible with standard ER collets and shrink-fit toolholders commonly used in vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Designed for use with standard 3/8 inch ER collet chucks, shrink-fit holders, and hydraulic toolholders on CNC vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, and multi-axis milling machines requiring a 3/8 inch shank.
This tool is installed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Ensure the toolholder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank, and torque collet nuts to toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts, as excessive runout accelerates wear on small-diameter carbide tooling. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating combination.
