The ACCUPRO 95168644 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding shop environments. With a 1 inch cutting diameter and 5 flutes ground from micrograin carbide, this tool delivers aggressive material removal rates while maintaining edge integrity across extended runs. The variable helix geometry reduces harmonic vibration and chatter during deep cuts, and the AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and surface hardness for dry or near-dry machining. The long-series configuration offers a 3.25 inch length of cut with a 6 inch overall length, making it well suited for deep-pocket and tall-workpiece applications. Installation and operation are performed by machinists and CNC programmers in production and job-shop settings.
This end mill is designed for profiling, slotting, and deep-pocket milling in ferrous and high-hardness materials where heat buildup and tool deflection are primary concerns. The 1 inch shank diameter provides rigid coupling in standard ER or hydraulic toolholders. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. The long reach makes it effective for aerospace, mold-and-die, and general metalworking applications where shorter tools cannot reach the full floor of the cut.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or upgrade for solid carbide square end mills with a 1 inch shank diameter and 1 inch cutting diameter in standard CAT, BT, HSK, or ER tooling systems used on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Confirm the toolholder bore matches the 1 inch shank before mounting and torque all set screws or collet nuts according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify spindle runout at the cutting edge before starting the program, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on multi-flute carbide tools. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer recommended speeds and feeds for the specific workpiece material and depth of cut.
