The ACCUPRO 95168598 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking applications. It features a 7 mm cutting diameter and a 19 mm length of cut, with a 4-flute variable helix geometry that promotes chip evacuation and reduces chatter during aggressive cuts. The 8 mm shank diameter provides solid tool holding in standard collet and end mill holders. Manufactured from micrograin solid carbide and finished with an AlTiN coating, this end mill is suited for high-speed cutting in ferrous and hardened materials. It is a single-end, center-cutting tool with a right-hand cutting and flute direction.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and precision manual mills where tight tolerances and smooth finishes are required. The regular-length, non-extended-reach profile makes it well suited for standard-depth slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations in production and job shop environments. The AlTiN coating supports elevated cutting temperatures, making it a practical choice for dry or near-dry machining of alloy steels, stainless steels, and similar materials. Machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, tooling, and general precision machining will find this geometry appropriate for demanding applications.
Designed for use in standard 8 mm collet chucks, shrink-fit holders, and end mill holders with an 8 mm bore. Suitable for CNC machining centers and manual mills configured for right-hand tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool change procedure follows the machine manufacturer's lockout requirements before inserting or removing the tool. Verify collet or holder bore size matches the 8 mm shank diameter and that the tool is seated to the correct gauge length before clamping. Do not exceed the rated runout tolerance of the holder, as excessive runout will accelerate tool wear and degrade cut quality.
