The ACCUPRO 95168592 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for producing chamfered edges and angled transitions in precision machining applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with nACRo for extended tool life and heat resistance, this single-end mill features a 3/16 inch cutting diameter and a 45-degree chamfer angle with a 0.0100 inch chamfer width. The variable helix design reduces harmonics and chatter during cut, improving surface finish. Four flutes provide efficient chip evacuation with a right-hand cutting and right-hand flute spiral direction. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on CNC mills and manual milling machines.
This end mill is suited for chamfering, deburring, and edge-breaking operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened steels, and high-temperature alloys where the nACRo coating provides thermal protection. The long-length flute configuration with a 3/4 inch length of cut allows reach into pockets and along part edges. It is appropriate for both production shop environments and job shop work where tight tolerances and consistent edge geometry are required. The 3/16 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and toolholders sized for that bore.
Designed for use in standard CNC and manual milling machines accepting a 3/16 inch shank diameter collet or toolholder. Suitable for ferrous metals, non-ferrous alloys, and hardened materials consistent with nACRo-coated solid carbide tooling applications.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with rotating cutting tool safety. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered off before loading or unloading the tool. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder to the specified engagement depth and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before production cuts to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
