The ACCUPRO 95168534 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 5/8 inch diameter with a 1-5/8 inch length of cut and a 3-1/2 inch overall length. The variable helix geometry reduces harmonic vibration and chatter during aggressive cuts, improving surface finish and tool life. An nACRo coating provides enhanced heat resistance and wear protection at elevated cutting speeds. The micrograin carbide substrate adds toughness and edge retention. This tool is intended for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations in shop and production environments. The single-end, center-cutting design allows plunge entry and is effective in both roughing and finishing passes. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard spindle rotation on vertical and horizontal machining centers. The 5/8 inch shank diameter fits standard ER and end mill holders common in most production shops. It is well-suited for mold work, die machining, and general precision machining applications where tight tolerances are required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment for 5/8 inch end mill holders, ER collet chucks, and Weldon-style tool holders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following machine tool manufacturer guidelines. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the tool holder to the recommended gauge length and torque set screws or collet nuts according to the holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut.
