The ACCUPRO 95168525 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision edge preparation and chamfering operations on hardened and difficult-to-machine materials. The 0.2188 inch (7/32 inch) cutting diameter, combined with an AlTiN coating and micrograin carbide substrate, makes this tool suitable for high-speed dry machining and interrupted cuts where heat resistance and edge retention are critical. Four flutes with a variable helix geometry improve chip evacuation and reduce chatter, supporting consistent surface finishes across steel, stainless, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry when the application requires it.
This corner chamfer end mill is applied in CNC machining centers and manual mills where controlled chamfer geometry is required at part edges, countersink lead-ins, or deburring operations. The 45-degree chamfer angle and 0.0100 inch chamfer width produce consistent, repeatable edge breaks on close-tolerance workpieces. It is a single-end tool with a 1/4 inch straight shank, fitting standard ER collets and end mill holders common in production and job shop environments. Machinists and toolroom technicians working in aerospace, automotive, and general metalworking applications are the primary users.
Designed as a standard single-end corner chamfer end mill with a 1/4 inch shank, compatible with ER collet chucks and end mill holders accepting 1/4 inch straight shanks on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down or in a safe tool-change state before inserting or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully within the collet or holder to the recommended minimum engagement depth for the holder type in use. Verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cutting cycle to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
