The ACCUPRO 95168512 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision chamfering and edge-breaking operations on metal workpieces. With a 0.5-inch mill diameter, a 0.0150-inch chamfer width, and a 45-degree chamfer angle, this tool delivers consistent, repeatable results on hardened and difficult-to-machine materials. The AlTiN coating provides high-temperature oxidation resistance, extending tool life in demanding dry or high-speed cutting environments. A variable helix geometry reduces harmonic vibration, improving surface finish and edge quality. This tool is intended for use by machinists and toolroom professionals in CNC milling applications.
This corner chamfer end mill is suited for ferrous metals, stainless steels, and heat-resistant alloys where edge preparation and chamfering are required as part of a finishing or deburring operation. The centercutting design allows plunge entry when the application calls for it. With a 0.5-inch shank diameter and 2.5-inch overall length, it fits standard ER and collet-style toolholders used in vertical and horizontal machining centers as well as manual knee mills.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide chamfer end mill compatible with standard 0.5-inch collet and ER toolholding systems used in CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Secure the shank in a properly sized collet or toolholder and torque to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting. Always power down and lock out the spindle before changing or adjusting tooling.
