The ACCUPRO 95168479 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), this single-end mill delivers high heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 0.0200 inch corner radius produces smooth finishes while reducing edge chipping on profiling and slotting cuts. With a 1/4 inch cutting diameter and a 3/8 inch length of cut, it is suited for light-to-medium material removal in tight workpiece geometries. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers of this tooling.
This end mill fits standard 1/4 inch collets and tool holders used on CNC machining centers, CNC routers, and manual milling machines. The extended reach configuration, with a 2-1/8 inch reach length and a reduced neck diameter of 0.2250 inches, allows access to deeper features and pockets without interference. The 4 inch overall length accommodates setups where additional clearance between the spindle and workpiece is needed. It is appropriate for use in job shops, tool and die operations, and production machining environments.
Designed for use with standard 1/4 inch collet chucks and end mill holders on CNC and manual milling machines. Confirm holder runout and collet condition before use to maintain diameter tolerances of +0.000000 / -0.002000 inches on the mill diameter and +0.0001 / -0.0004 inches on the shank diameter.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Power down and lock out the spindle drive before inserting or removing tooling from the holder. Verify collet size matches the 1/4 inch shank diameter and that the collet is clean and free of chips before tightening. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
