The ACCUPRO 95168436 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision chamfering and edge-breaking operations on ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. Built from micrograin solid carbide, this single-end mill features a 45-degree chamfer angle with a 0.0100 inch chamfer width, a 1/8 inch cutting diameter, and a 4-flute right-hand spiral configuration. The nACRo coating provides thermal and wear resistance suited to demanding cutting environments. A variable helix geometry reduces chatter and improves chip evacuation during interrupted or high-speed cuts. This tool is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, aerospace, medical device, and general manufacturing environments.
This end mill is suited for chamfering, edge preparation, and deburring operations where tight dimensional control is required. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry into the workpiece. The long-length flute configuration with a 3/4 inch length of cut and 3 inch overall length provides reach for applications where standard-length tools cannot access the feature. It fits 1/8 inch collet toolholders, shrink-fit holders, and compatible endmill chucks in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Designed for use in 1/8 inch bore collet chucks, shrink-fit holders, and endmill toolholders on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Mill diameter tolerance is +0.000 to -0.002 inches; shank diameter tolerance is +0.0001 to -0.0004 inches.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the machine spindle fully stopped and the tool path verified before cutting commences. Ensure the toolholder bore and collet are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before the first cut when tight tolerances are required. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and cutting tool manufacturer recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
