The ACCUPRO 95168277 is a single-end ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and hard materials. Built from solid carbide with an AlTiN coating, it delivers high heat resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting environments. The 1/2 inch diameter, 4-flute configuration with a variable helix geometry reduces chatter and improves surface finish in finish and semi-finish passes. With a 1-1/4 inch length of cut and 3 inch overall length, this tool is suited for profiling, contouring, and cavity milling work. Machinists and toolroom operators install this mill in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This ball end mill is intended for use in ferrous metals, hardened steels, cast iron, and similar materials where the AlTiN coating provides thermal stability and wear resistance. The right-hand cutting and right-hand spiral flute direction make it compatible with standard CNC spindle configurations. Its solid carbide construction supports high-speed machining strategies, and the variable helix design helps suppress vibration during deep-wall or contour cuts. It is a single-end tool sold individually.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Secure the 1/2 inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder, ensuring correct runout before cutting. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing or adjusting the tool. Follow machine manufacturer torque and clamping guidelines for the holder type in use.
