The ACCUPRO 936-25018 is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal NPT threads in sizes 1/4 and 3/8. It runs 4 flutes with a micrograin carbide body and a TiAlN coating, giving it strong wear resistance in ferrous and abrasive materials. The cutting diameter measures 0.305 inches with a 0.625-inch length of cut, and the shank diameter is 5/16 inches. At 18 teeth per inch, it is suited for producing tapered pipe threads in a CNC milling operation. This tool is used by machinists and tooling professionals working in production or job-shop environments.

This thread mill is applied wherever internal NPT threads in 1/4 or 3/8 pipe sizes must be milled rather than tapped. Helical flute thread mills are commonly selected when thread quality, tool life, or interrupted-cut conditions make single-point tapping impractical.
