The ACCUPRO 931-12100 is a helical flute internal thread mill designed for cutting M12 x 1.00 metric fine threads in a single helical interpolation pass. Built from micrograin solid carbide and finished with a TiAlN coating, this tool delivers heat resistance and edge retention in demanding metal-cutting applications. It features 4 right-hand flutes, a cutting diameter of 0.37 inches (9.15 mm), and a length of cut of 0.8752 inches. The TiAlN coating extends tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and tooling professionals on CNC machining centers.
The 931-12100 is suited for internal thread milling in production and job-shop environments where metric fine thread forms are required. Its 3/8 inch shank diameter accommodates standard toolholders used on vertical and horizontal machining centers. The helical flute geometry supports smooth chip evacuation during the interpolation cycle. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool, so flood or mist coolant applied externally at the cutting zone is the recommended approach for heat management during operation.

This tool is installed by qualified machinists in CNC toolholding systems. Ensure the shank is fully seated and secured to the toolholder torque specification required by your toolholder manufacturer before running. Program a helical interpolation toolpath matched to the M12 x 1.00 pitch to achieve the correct thread form. Do not exceed the recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material being threaded.
