The ACCUPRO 77712024 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding production and maintenance applications. It measures 11/32 inch (0.3438 inch) in diameter with a 140-degree split-point tip and an overall length of 110 mm (approximately 4.33 inches). The bit features an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating that extends tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. A web-thinned, tapered web design reduces entry force and improves chip evacuation. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and industrial maintenance mechanics typically select this bit for drilling into alloy steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and other hard or abrasive materials where high-speed steel tooling falls short.
This drill bit is suited for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual milling machines where rigid workholding and controlled feed rates are maintained. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 10 mm shank diameter seats directly into standard ER collets, drill chucks, and shrink-fit holders. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and 54.60 mm flute length support drilling depths up to approximately 1.719 inches without pausing for chip clearance on most ductile materials. Coolant-through capability makes this bit compatible with through-spindle coolant systems for extended run times in production environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide jobber drill for CNC and manual machine tool setups accepting a 10 mm straight-cylindrical shank and standard ER or drill chuck toolholding.
Installation and use should be performed by machinists or qualified tool-and-die personnel familiar with carbide tooling. Ensure the spindle and workholding are fully stopped before changing or seating this bit, and verify chuck or collet runout is within acceptable limits, as carbide is brittle and susceptible to fracture under eccentric loading. Follow machine tool manufacturer feed and speed recommendations for solid carbide drills in the specific workpiece material. Do not use this bit in hand-held drill applications.
