The ACCUPRO 77711984 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding machining applications. It measures 10.5 mm in diameter (0.4134 inches) with an overall length of 132 mm and a flute length of 65.60 mm. The bit features a 140-degree split point angle, which reduces walking and improves entry accuracy without a center punch. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating adds heat resistance and surface hardness, extending tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. Coolant-through capability allows internal coolant delivery directly to the cutting zone, improving chip evacuation and thermal control at the tip.
This drill bit is suited for CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual machining operations where consistent hole quality in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar hard materials is required. The right-hand cutting direction and solid carbide construction make it a strong fit for production environments that demand tight tolerances and repeatable results. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and precision fabricators working with automated or manual setups will find this bit appropriate for general metalworking and aerospace or industrial component drilling.
Designed as a general-purpose jobber length drill bit compatible with CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual mills equipped with standard drill chucks or collets sized for a 12.00 mm shank.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard tooling setup procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the bit from the chuck or collet. Verify coolant-through passages are clear and that the machine tool supports internal coolant delivery if that feature is to be used. Follow the machine manufacturer's recommended speed and feed guidelines for solid carbide tooling in the specific workpiece material.
