The ACCUPRO 771199 is a CAT40 dual contact taper shank shell mill holder designed for use on vertical and horizontal machining centers equipped with dual contact spindles. The dual contact interface engages both the taper and the spindle face simultaneously, improving rigidity and reducing runout compared to standard single-contact toolholders. With a 1-inch pilot diameter and a flange-to-nose projection of 6 inches, this holder positions shell mill cutters for a wide range of face milling and shoulder milling applications. Total indicated runout (TIR) is rated at 0.0002 inches, and the assembly is balanced to 10,000 RPM. Through-spindle and DIN flange coolant delivery are both supported.
