The ACCUPRO 75563502 is a WNMG-style carbide turning insert designed for precision lathe and turning center operations. Built to ANSI code WNMG433 and ISO code WNMG080412, this insert features a trigon 80-degree included angle, a neutral hand orientation, and a CVD coating applied over a carbide substrate. The manufacturer grade ACK20P is engineered for high wear-resistance in steel (P) and cast iron (K) machining applications. With a corner radius of 1.20 mm (0.0472 inches) and a maximum depth of cut of 4.00 mm (0.1575 inches), it suits medium to finish turning passes where edge integrity and surface finish are critical.
This insert is used in CNC turning and manual lathe operations across job shop, production, and maintenance machining environments. It is suited for turning steel components and cast iron workpieces where consistent tool life and wear resistance are required. The 909+ chip breaker geometry supports controlled chip formation during continuous cuts. The insert accommodates multiple holding methods including clamp, lever lock, pin, and screw systems, making it compatible with a wide range of standard WNMG toolholders. Machinists and CNC operators working in general-purpose or high-volume turning will find this insert a direct fit for existing WNMG insert pockets.
Designed as a direct replacement for standard WNMG433 and WNMG080412 insert pockets in turning toolholders that accept WNMG-style inserts with a 0.2122-inch hole diameter and negative rake geometry.
Insert replacement is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the appropriate torx or hex key as specified by the toolholder manufacturer when securing screw-lock or lever-lock seats. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before seating the new insert to prevent microfracture at the cutting edge.
