The ACCUPRO 75562512 is a CNMG-style indexable carbide turning insert designed for precision external turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. It carries an ANSI insert code of CNMG431 and an ISO equivalent of CNMG120404. The insert is manufactured from carbide in grade ACM25P with a PVD coating and features the IPK+ chip breaker geometry. With a diamond (rhombic) 80-degree insert shape, a 0.40 mm (0.0157 inch) corner radius, and four usable cutting edges, this insert delivers a dependable cost-per-edge value for medium-duty turning applications.

This insert is suited for turning steel, stainless steel, and special or super alloys in both residential shop and industrial production environments. The ACM25P grade provides high wear resistance through the full range to high toughness for steel (P-class workpieces), high wear resistance to moderate wear resistance and toughness for stainless steel (M-class), and moderate wear resistance and toughness for special and super alloys (S-class). It is used by machinists and CNC operators running roughing-to-finishing passes where consistent chip control and tool life are required.
