The ACCUPRO 75562355 is a CCMT-style carbide turning insert designed for precision external turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. Manufactured in the CI series with an ACM25P grade and PVD coating, this insert delivers high wear resistance across a range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, and special and super alloys. The 80-degree diamond (rhombic) insert shape provides a strong cutting edge geometry, while the 7-degree relief angle and positive side clearance reduce cutting forces and improve surface finish. With a corner radius of 1.20 mm (0.0472 inches) and a maximum depth of cut of 3.00 mm (0.1181 inches), this insert suits medium finishing to light roughing passes. Screw-held mounting ensures rigid, repeatable positioning in compatible toolholders.
This insert is suited for turning applications in job shops, production machining environments, and tool rooms where consistent performance across steel and stainless steel workpieces is required. The WM+ chip breaker geometry is optimized for chip control during continuous and interrupted turning. The neutral hand configuration allows use on both left- and right-hand setups. This insert is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 10 units, making it appropriate for shop stocking programs or multi-machine tooling setups. It is installed and changed by machinists and CNC operators as a standard consumable tooling component.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for CCMT433 (ANSI) and CCMT120412 (ISO) toolholders that accept screw-clamped CCMT inserts with a 0.5000-inch (12.70 mm) inscribed circle and a 0.2205-inch hole diameter.
Insert replacement is performed by machinists or CNC operators during scheduled tooling changes or upon signs of wear, chipping, or surface finish degradation. Power down the spindle and engage the machine lock before accessing the turret or toolholder. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key for the clamping screw and index to the next unused cutting edge before replacing the insert entirely. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and insert manufacturer recommended starting parameters for feed rate and cutting speed when setting up this insert for the first time on a new application.
