The ACCUPRO 75551507 is a DNMG431 indexable turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC and manual lathes. Built from CVD-coated carbide in a 55-degree diamond (rhombic) shape, this insert carries manufacturer grade ACM20P and is engineered for high wear-resistance to moderate wear-resistance and toughness applications. It features a neutral hand orientation, negative side clearance, and an IPK+ chip breaker geometry. With 4 cutting edges per insert and a corner radius of 0.40 mm (0.0157 inches), it delivers consistent performance across a range of turning operations. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this insert in compatible toolholders using clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw holding methods.
This insert is suited for turning steel (P) and stainless steel (M) workpiece materials, covering applications from high wear-resistance to moderate toughness demands. It fits into DNMG-style toolholders and is commonly used in production turning, facing, and profiling operations in both job shop and high-volume manufacturing environments. The CI series designation and ANSI size code 431 (ISO 150404) confirm compatibility with standard DNMG toolholder pockets used across a wide range of machine tool setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement insert for DNMG431 (ISO DNMG150404) toolholder pockets. Primary workpiece material codes P (steel) and M (stainless steel) per ISO classification. Conforms to ANSI Code DMNG431 standards.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the appropriate torque wrench and insert key specified by the toolholder manufacturer when securing the insert via clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw. Inspect the toolholder pocket seat and clamping components for wear or debris before seating a new insert.
