The ACCUPRO 75515734 is a DCMT-style carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. Featuring a 55-degree diamond (rhombic) insert shape, a 7-degree relief angle, and a CVD coating applied over a carbide substrate, this insert delivers high wear resistance across a range of cutting conditions. The corner radius measures 0.0315 inches (0.80 mm), and the inscribed circle diameter is 0.3752 inches (9.53 mm). It is held in place by a screw-clamp method and offers two usable cutting edges per insert. Licensed machinists, CNC operators, and toolroom technicians are the primary users of this insert.
This insert is suited for turning operations on steel and stainless steel workpieces in both roughing and finishing passes where high wear resistance and moderate toughness are required. The WM+ chip breaker geometry supports chip control across a range of feed rates and depths of cut. Maximum depth of cut is 0.1181 inches (3.00 mm). The ACM20P grade and CVD coating make it particularly effective on ISO P (carbon and alloy steel) and ISO M (stainless steel) material groups. It fits toolholders designed for DCMT11T308 or DCMT32.52 insert seats.
Designed to fit toolholders accepting DCMT32.52 (ANSI) or DCMT11T308 (ISO) insert seats. Compatible with primary workpiece material codes P (steel) and M (stainless steel) per ISO classification.
Installation is performed by CNC machinists or toolroom technicians using the appropriate torx or hex key to secure the clamping screw to the manufacturer-specified torque for the toolholder system in use. Always index or replace the insert with the machine in a stopped, locked-out state. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before seating a new edge. Do not use a damaged or chipped insert edge, as it can cause workpiece damage or unpredictable tool failure.
