The ACCUPRO 75475814 is a CCMT-style indexable turning insert designed for external and internal turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. Built from a CVD-coated carbide substrate in manufacturer grade ACP25M, this insert delivers high wear resistance across a range of workpiece materials. The diamond (rhombic) 80-degree insert shape provides a strong cutting edge geometry with a 7-degree relief angle, while the 0.0157-inch (0.40 mm) corner radius suits finishing and semi-finishing passes. The neutral hand orientation and screw-mount holding method make it a straightforward replacement in standard CCMT toolholders. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shops and production environments will find this insert well suited to high-volume turning cycles.
This insert is rated for use on steel (P), stainless steel (M), and cast iron (K) workpiece materials. The WM+ chip breaker geometry supports chip control across varying feed rates and depths. CCMT turning inserts are installed and indexed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or replacing any insert.
