The ACCUPRO 75367490 is a DCMT-style carbide turning insert designed for precision external and internal turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. It carries ANSI code DCMT32.52 and ISO code DCMT11T308, making it a direct match for tool holders specifying either standard. The insert is manufactured from cemented carbide with a CVD coating in grade ACP15K, providing high to moderate wear resistance combined with toughness across a range of workpiece materials. The 55-degree diamond (rhombic) insert shape delivers a sharp, well-supported cutting edge suited to finishing and semi-finishing passes. The chip breaker designation is WM+ and the insert has a neutral hand orientation with positive side clearance.
This insert is appropriate for turning steel, stainless steel, and cast iron in both production and job-shop environments. The ACP15K grade is rated for ISO material groups P (steel), M (stainless steel), and K (cast iron), covering high wear-resistance to moderate wear-resistance and toughness requirements in each group.
