The ACCUPRO 75354514 is a CNMG-style indexable turning insert manufactured from carbide with a CVD coating. It carries ANSI size code CNMG543 and ISO size code CNMG160612. The insert features a diamond (rhombic) 80-degree included angle, a neutral hand orientation, and a negative side clearance geometry. With four usable cutting edges per insert, it delivers high wear resistance when turning steel (P) and cast iron (K) workpiece materials. The CVD coating, applied under the CI series grade ACK10P designation, supports high-speed, high-wear applications in production turning environments. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users of this insert.
This insert is suited for external and internal turning operations on steel and cast iron components in both production and job-shop environments. A corner radius of 1.20 mm (0.0472 inches) makes it appropriate for finish to semi-finish turning passes where surface quality and tool life are both priorities. The maximum depth of cut reaches 8.00 mm (0.3150 inches), covering a range from light finishing to moderate roughing cuts. Index or replace this insert with the machine fully stopped and the spindle locked out per your facility lockout/tagout procedure. Inspect the toolholder pocket for wear, debris, or damage before seating a new insert, as pocket condition directly affects insert stability and tool life.
