Product Description

The ACCUPRO 75332023 is a CNMG-style indexable carbide turning insert designed for high-productivity metal cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. Manufactured to ISO designation CNMG190612, this insert features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape with a neutral hand orientation and a negative side clearance angle. The CVD coating and ACP25M grade deliver a balance of wear resistance and toughness suited to interrupted and continuous turning operations across steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpiece materials. The 1.20 mm (0.0472 inch) corner radius and 909+ chip breaker geometry help manage chip flow and surface finish at moderate to high feed rates.

This insert is used in external and internal turning applications on manual and CNC lathes. It is suited for production environments running steel (ISO P), stainless steel (ISO M), and cast iron (ISO K) components where consistent tool life and predictable wear patterns are required. The four available cutting edges reduce per-edge tooling cost in high-volume turning operations. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shop, aerospace, automotive, or general manufacturing settings will find this insert appropriate for medium to rough finishing passes.

Key Features

  • CVD-coated ACP25M carbide grade for high wear resistance across P, M, and K workpiece material groups
  • 80-degree diamond insert shape (CNMG) provides a strong cutting edge with good approach angle versatility
  • Four cutting edges per insert maximize usage before replacement
  • 909+ chip breaker geometry assists chip control across a range of feed rates and depths of cut
  • Negative side clearance with M-tolerance for consistent seating in standard CNMG toolholders
  • Maximum depth of cut of 8.00 mm (0.3150 inches) supports medium to roughing turning passes

Compatibility

Designed for use in standard CNMG toolholders accepting clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw insert-holding methods. Compatible with holders specified for ANSI insert code CNMG643 and ISO size code 190612 with a 0.3134-inch hole diameter.

Installation Notes

Insert indexing and replacement should be performed with the machine powered off and the spindle fully stopped. Use the appropriate torque wrench or screwdriver specified by the toolholder manufacturer when securing the clamping mechanism — do not overtighten or substitute fasteners. Verify insert seating and pocket cleanliness before resuming cuts to prevent premature edge failure or chatter. This insert is intended for installation by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians familiar with indexable tooling systems.
