The ACCUPRO 75289017 is a CCGT-style carbide turning insert designed for precision turning operations on stainless steel and cast iron workpieces. Manufactured under the ACM20K grade with a PVD coating, this insert delivers high wear resistance with moderate toughness, making it well suited for finishing and semi-finishing cuts. The insert features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape, a positive side clearance, and a neutral hand orientation. It is held in place via a screw-lock method and is compatible with standard CCGT toolholders. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in job shop or production environments are the primary installers.

This insert is intended for turning applications where surface finish and edge integrity are priorities, particularly on stainless steel (ISO material group M) and cast iron (ISO material group K). The EN-EF chip breaker geometry is suited for light to moderate depths of cut, with a maximum depth of cut of 0.0531 inches (1.35 mm).
