The ACCUPRO 75272575 is a WNMG-style carbide turning insert designed for external and internal turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Carrying the ANSI code WNMG433 and ISO code WNMG080412, this insert features an 80-degree trigon shape with a negative side clearance and a 1.20 mm (0.0472 inch) corner radius. Manufactured in grade ACM25P with a PVD coating, it is engineered for high wear-resistance across steel, stainless steel, and special and super alloy workpiece materials. The neutral hand orientation makes it suitable for both right-hand and left-hand toolholders. Machinists and CNC operators working in production turning applications select this insert for its multi-edge efficiency and broad material compatibility.
This insert is suited for precision turning in industrial machining environments, including job shops, production facilities, and aerospace or general engineering operations. The WNMG080412 geometry with the IPR+ chip breaker is appropriate for medium to finishing cuts on steel (P), stainless steel (M), and special and super alloys (S). With a maximum depth of cut of 6.00 mm (0.2362 inches) and a 0.5000-inch inscribed circle, it fits standard WNMG-compatible toolholders. The neutral insert hand provides flexibility across a wide range of turning setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement insert for WNMG-style turning toolholders accepting ANSI size code 433 or ISO size code 080412 inserts with a 0.2043-inch hole diameter.
Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or toolroom technicians. Always power down and lock out the machine before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the appropriate torx or hex key as specified by the toolholder manufacturer when securing the insert via screw or lever lock. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for debris or damage before seating the new insert to ensure proper edge geometry and prevent premature insert failure.
