The ACCUPRO 75261776 is a CCGT-style carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. Manufactured in the CI series, this insert features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape with a 7-degree relief angle and a polished coating finish. The neutral hand orientation and positive side clearance support clean, controlled cuts with minimal cutting force. With a corner radius of 0.0079 inches (0.20 mm) and a maximum depth of cut of 0.0531 inches (1.35 mm), this insert is suited to finishing and light semi-finishing passes where dimensional accuracy and surface finish are priorities.
This insert is engineered for machining cast iron and non-ferrous materials including aluminum. The ACN15K grade delivers high wear resistance with moderate toughness, making it appropriate for production turning applications where insert life and consistent surface finish matter. The LMF+ chip breaker geometry promotes efficient chip control during light cuts on these workpiece materials. The screw-holding method provides secure clamping in compatible insert toolholders. This insert ships individually but must be ordered in multiples of 10.
Compatible with CCGT-style screw-clamp turning toolholders accepting a 0.25 inch inscribed circle insert with a 0.1114 inch hole diameter. Verify toolholder seat geometry and clearance code C before installation. ANSI code CCGT21.50.5 and ISO code CCGT060202 can be used to cross-reference compatible toolholder seats.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or replacing inserts. Use the manufacturer-specified torx or hex key to fasten the clamping screw to the toolholder seat — do not overtighten, as this can fracture the carbide. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before installing a new insert.
