The neutral hand orientation and screw-type insert holding method make this insert compatible with standard DCMX-style toolholders. This insert is used in general-purpose turning applications on a range of metallic workpiece materials where a 55-degree diamond geometry is specified. The DCMX11T304 ISO code and ANSI code DCMX32.51 identify the exact form factor for toolholder selection.
