The ACCUPRO 75205286 is a GO-style grooving insert designed for external and internal grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built to insert size code 24, it features a cutting width of 0.1181 inches (3.000mm) and a corner radius of 0.0118 inches (0.30mm). The insert is manufactured in the ACP45M grade with a PVD coating for improved wear resistance and edge retention at elevated cutting temperatures. A positive rake geometry reduces cutting forces and helps control chip flow. This insert is installed by machinists and CNC operators performing grooving, parting, or recessing operations on metal workpieces.
The 75205286 is suited for grooving applications on ferrous and non-ferrous materials in production turning environments. The GMP chip breaker geometry supports controlled chip evacuation in moderate to high feed-rate passes. It fits Series CI toolholders and is compatible with clamp, screw, and self-grip holding methods, giving shops flexibility across multiple toolholder configurations.
