The ACCUPRO 72030141 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling of high-temperature alloys and other demanding workpiece materials. It features a 3/4-inch mill diameter, six flutes, and a 1.25-inch length of cut, making it well-suited for aggressive material removal with a controlled corner profile. The 0.190-inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at cutting edges and extends tool life in interrupted cuts. An AlTiN+ coating provides thermal resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures. Variable helix and variable index geometry help suppress chatter and improve surface finish in difficult-to-machine materials.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers handling high-temp alloys such as nickel, titanium, and cobalt-based materials, which fall under the S-category workpiece classification. It is a single-end tool with a 3/4-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 4 inches. The center-cutting design allows plunge entry when needed. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction are standard for conventional CNC spindle setups. It is suited for aerospace, power generation, and precision industrial machining operations where tool life and edge stability in superalloys are critical.
Designed for CNC milling applications involving high-temperature alloys (S-category materials). Compatible with standard 3/4-inch tool holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit systems sized for a 3/4-inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Use a properly sized and balanced tool holder to minimize runout, which is critical when machining high-temp alloys with tight tolerances. Follow the tool manufacturer and machine builder guidelines for speeds, feeds, and coolant application appropriate to the workpiece material.
