The ACCUPRO 72027097 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials. With a 0.75-inch mill diameter, six flutes, and a 1.25-inch length of cut, this tool is built for aggressive material removal with a controlled edge geometry. The 0.090-inch corner radius reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge, extending tool life in tough applications. An AlTiN+ coating provides oxidation resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures, making it well-suited for high-temp alloy machining. This is a single-end, centercutting tool with right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction.
This end mill is engineered primarily for high-temperature alloys, designated by workpiece material code S. Variable index and variable helix geometry reduce harmonic vibration and chatter during deep cuts or long-reach passes. At 4 inches overall length with a 0.75-inch shank diameter, it fits standard 3/4-inch collets and toolholders used in vertical and horizontal machining centers. Machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, power generation, and precision manufacturing will find this tool appropriate for finishing and semi-finishing passes in nickel-based, titanium, and cobalt alloys.
Designed for use with standard 3/4-inch collets and toolholders. Primary workpiece material is high-temp alloy (material code S), including nickel-based superalloys, titanium, and cobalt alloys. Part of the ACCUPRO HS series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is clean and free of debris before securing the end mill. Confirm runout with a dial indicator after installation to maintain dimensional accuracy and tool life. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and tooling manufacturer guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut appropriate to the workpiece material.
