The ACCUPRO 72023732 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. Built with a 3/4-inch diameter, 6 flutes, and an AlTiN+ coating, it delivers extended tool life and thermal resistance when cutting high-temperature alloys and other difficult workpiece materials. The 0.060-inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, improving surface finish and tool durability. Variable index and variable helix geometry help suppress chatter and vibration during aggressive cuts. This is a single-end, center-cutting tool with right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction, suited for CNC machining centers in production environments.
This end mill is intended for use in high-temp alloy machining, designated under primary workpiece material code S. Typical applications include aerospace components, turbine parts, and heat-resistant superalloy workpieces where tool wear resistance and edge stability are critical. The AlTiN+ coating performs well under dry or minimal-lubrication cutting conditions at elevated temperatures. Machinists and CNC programmers working with Inconel, titanium, and similar materials will find this geometry well matched to those requirements.
Designed for use with CNC machining centers accepting a 3/4-inch straight shank toolholder. Primary workpiece material designation is high-temp alloy (material code S), including titanium and nickel-based superalloys.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom professional. Ensure the toolholder collet or end mill holder is clean and within specified runout tolerances before seating the shank. Verify spindle and toolholder are fully powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Consult the machine tool and toolholder manufacturer specifications for proper pull stud torque and gauge length setup.
