The ACCUPRO 71177216 is a solid carbide upcut spiral router bit designed for precision cutting in aluminum applications. With a 0.5-inch cutter diameter and a 1.375-inch length of cut, it handles single-sheet aluminum, multi-sheet aluminum stacks, and aluminum plate stock. The 0.5-inch shank provides a secure fit in standard router chucks and collets. A 22-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation in the upcut direction, reducing heat buildup and keeping the cut path clear. Right-hand cutting geometry and a bright uncoated finish make this bit well-suited for shops and field setups running aluminum fabrication work.
This bit is used in CNC routing and handheld router applications where clean, burr-minimized cuts in aluminum are required. The upcut flute design pulls chips up and out of the cut, which is especially useful in deep passes through aluminum plate. Metalworking shops, sign fabricators, and industrial maintenance crews working with aluminum sheet goods will find this bit appropriate for both production and repair contexts.
