The ACCUPRO 63310460 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in ferrous materials. It features a 140-degree notched point that reduces walking and lowers entry force on hard materials. The AlTiN coating increases surface hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life during high-speed or dry drilling operations. At 2 inches overall length with a 0.67-inch flute, this bit delivers a compact, rigid profile suited to production drilling. The straight cylindrical shank measures 1/8 inch in diameter, making it compatible with standard chucks and collet holders. Machinists and tool-room technicians are the primary users.
This drill bit is sized at 7/64 inch (0.1094 inch decimal) and is intended for drilling steel and stainless steel in machine shop, maintenance, and fabrication environments. The web-thinned, parallel-web construction reduces thrust load when penetrating harder alloys. The right-hand, regular spiral flute geometry provides reliable chip evacuation in moderate-depth holes. With a maximum drilling depth of 0.54 inches and a 4xD flute-to-diameter ratio, this bit is suited to shallow-to-moderate drilling applications where dimensional accuracy and tool rigidity are priorities.
Designed for use with standard drill chucks and collet-style holders accepting a 1/8-inch straight cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece materials are steel and stainless steel.
This drill bit is installed and used by machinists, tool-room technicians, and maintenance professionals operating drill presses, CNC machining centers, or handheld power drills with compatible chucks. Secure the shank firmly in the chuck or collet before operation and confirm runout is within acceptable limits for the application. Solid carbide tooling is brittle and should not be used in setups with significant vibration or lateral loading. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines for spindle speed and feed rate appropriate to the workpiece material and bit diameter.
