The ACCUPRO 50375 is a jobber length drill bit engineered for precision drilling in hard and abrasive materials. Built from solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and wear resistance needed for demanding production environments. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating provides high-heat resistance, extending tool life when cutting ferrous metals, stainless steel, and high-temp alloys. The 150-degree split point reduces walking on entry and cuts without a center punch on flat stock. With a 3-flute spiral design and a 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio, this bit offers efficient chip evacuation and strong cutting geometry. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users.
This drill bit is suited for CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual machines operating in job shop, production, or maintenance environments. At 7/32 inch (0.2188 inch decimal), it falls within the 0.2000 to 0.2500 inch drill size range and meets ANSI specification standards. The straight cylindrical shank seats cleanly in standard drill chucks and collet holders. Right-hand cutting direction applies to conventional clockwise-spindle operation. No coolant-through capability, so external or flood coolant should be used when cutting heat-sensitive materials.
Designed as a jobber length replacement or production drill bit for standard drill chucks and collet holders accepting a straight cylindrical shank in the 0.2000 to 0.2500 inch diameter range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the chuck or collet and verify runout before cutting. No coolant-through capability is present on this bit, so use external flood or mist coolant when drilling heat-sensitive or gummy materials to prevent premature coating wear.
