The ACCUPRO 4500463 is a taper length drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. Built from solid carbide and coated with TiAlN, it holds up under the heat and abrasion generated when cutting stainless steel and other hard alloys. The 140-degree split point reduces walking at entry and lowers the thrust needed to start the cut. With a flute length of approximately 2.24 inches and an overall length of approximately 3.74 inches, this bit fits standard drill chucks and CNC setups running straight-shank tooling. Coolant-through capability makes it well suited for automated machining environments where chip evacuation and heat management are critical.
This drill bit is designed for metalworking applications where tool life and hole quality in tough materials are priorities. Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians familiar with carbide tooling. Do not use carbide drills in hand-held drilling operations, as carbide is brittle and susceptible to breakage from lateral loading.
