The ACCUPRO 4500364 is a screw machine length drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in demanding applications. Built from solid carbide and coated with TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride), it delivers excellent heat resistance and wear life in hard and abrasive workpiece materials. The bit measures 29/64 inch (0.4531 inch decimal) in diameter with an overall length of 4.803 inches and a flute length of 2.264 inches. The 140-degree split point and R-thinned web reduce thrust force and improve self-centering on entry. With coolant-through capability and a 3xD flute-to-diameter ratio, this bit is suited for production machining environments where tool life and hole quality matter.
This drill bit is designed for cutting stainless steels and similarly tough materials in precision machining operations. Its straight-cylindrical shank seats in standard drill chucks and collet holders. Right-hand spiral flutes evacuate chips efficiently in both through-hole and blind-hole applications. Machinists and toolroom technicians working on CNC machining centers, lathes, or drill presses will find this tool appropriate for stainless steel components, manifolds, fittings, and structural parts where dimensional accuracy is required.
Rated for primary use in stainless steels. The straight-cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks and collet systems accepting a 0.4688-inch shank diameter. ISO specification designation confirms dimensional conformance to international tooling standards.
This drill bit is installed and operated by machinists in machine shop environments. Secure the shank fully in a drill chuck or collet holder before operation and verify runout is within acceptable limits. Use cutting fluid or through-spindle coolant as recommended for stainless steel to prevent work hardening and premature tool wear. Never exceed the recommended feed and speed parameters for solid carbide tooling in the specific workpiece material.
