The ACCUPRO 4500323 is a screw machine length drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in demanding shop and machining environments. Built from solid carbide and coated with TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride), this bit handles elevated cutting temperatures and abrasive materials without rapid wear. The 140-degree split point with R-thinning reduces entry thrust and helps prevent walking on hard surfaces. At 6.50 mm in diameter with a 79 mm overall length, it fits standard straight-cylindrical tool holders and is sized for short, rigid setups where tool deflection must be minimized. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users.
This drill bit is rated for stainless steels as the primary workpiece material, making it appropriate for aerospace, food service equipment, medical fabrication, and general precision machining applications where work hardening is a concern. The 3xD flute-to-diameter ratio and regular spiral flute geometry support chip evacuation in deep hole drilling scenarios. Coolant-through capability allows internal coolant delivery directly to the cutting edge, which is especially useful on CNC machining centers running stainless or other tough alloys.

When using the coolant-through feature, verify that the machine tool spindle and toolholder are compatible with internal coolant delivery before use.
