The ACCUPRO 4500262 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding production and maintenance machining environments. The drill measures 11.10 mm in diameter with a 140-degree split point geometry and a TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating that extends tool life in hard and abrasive materials. Overall length is 118.00 mm with a 71.00 mm flute length. The 12 mm straight cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks and tool holders. Coolant-through capability supports high-speed, deep-hole applications where chip evacuation and heat management are critical. This tool is suited for machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC operators working in production or job-shop settings.
The 4500262 is used in metalworking applications requiring tight-tolerance hole diameters in the 0.4370 inch (0.4000 to 0.5000 inch range) class. The 140-degree proprietary point angle reduces thrust and improves self-centering on entry, making it well-suited for drilling steel alloys, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar ferrous materials. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports deeper hole drilling without sacrificing rigidity. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional drill press, lathe, and CNC machining center use. The R-thinned web reduces chisel edge engagement and lowers axial cutting forces.
Designed as a high-performance replacement or production jobber drill for machining applications requiring an 11.10 mm diameter hole in the 10.00 to 12.50 mm drill size range. Fits standard 12 mm straight-shank tool holders, drill chucks, and collet systems used on drill presses, lathes, and CNC machining centers.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, de-energized state before loading or changing tooling. Verify chuck or collet runout is within acceptable limits before use, as excessive runout accelerates carbide wear and can cause premature breakage. When using the coolant-through feature, confirm coolant supply pressure and flow rate are appropriate for the holder and spindle configuration in use.
