The ACCUPRO 4500136 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding materials, particularly stainless steel. It features a 5.60 mm (0.2205 inch) diameter, a 140-degree split-point geometry with R-thinned web, and a TiAlN coating that resists heat and extends tool life at high cutting speeds. The straight cylindrical shank measures 6 mm in diameter, and the overall length is 82.00 mm (3.2283 inches). Two regular spiral flutes provide efficient chip evacuation. This drill is suited for machinists, tool-and-die shops, fabricators, and maintenance technicians working with tight tolerances and hard alloys.
The 4500136 is intended for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual mills where coolant-through capability can be utilized. Its 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and 44.00 mm (1.7323 inch) flute length make it well suited for moderate-depth holes in stainless steel and other ferrous alloys. The right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional spindle rotation. It falls within the 5.00 mm to 6.00 mm drill bit size range and conforms to DIN specification standards. Individual pieces are sold with a minimum order quantity of one.
Designed as a high-performance OEM-style jobber drill for use in stainless steel and similar ferrous workpiece materials within the 5.00 mm to 6.00 mm drill bit size range, conforming to DIN standards.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians familiar with cutting tool setup and speeds-and-feeds selection. Verify spindle runout and collet or chuck concentricity before use, as carbide drills are sensitive to side loading. Always bring spindle to a full stop before changing tooling. Appropriate coolant pressure and flow should be confirmed when using the coolant-through feature to prevent thermal cracking of the carbide substrate.
