The ACCUPRO 4500014 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for machining hardened materials where standard high-speed steel tooling fails to hold an edge. It measures 9/32 inch (0.2812 inch) in diameter with a 3-3/8 inch overall length and features a TiAlN coating that provides thermal resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. The 140-degree point angle and UR-thinned web reduce entry force and improve centering on hard substrates. A slow spiral flute geometry promotes chip evacuation in dense, abrasive workpiece materials. Machinists and toolroom technicians working in CNC or manual drilling operations are the primary users of this bit.

This drill bit is suited for production and job-shop drilling into hardened steels and similarly difficult materials where a specialized carbide grade is required.
